You down with 1080p? Yeah you know me!

After narrowing it down to 2, we've finally decided on a tv. The only sucky thing is it won't be here until February 8th. We were pretty pissed when the people working at the Magnolia store inside Best Buy told us it was back ordered, so I had to act a fool.

Growing up, I was never very aggressive. I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. But as I've gotten older, I've come to realize what my Dad was trying to teach me all those years. Standing up for yourself doesn't mean you always have to be swinging fists.

I told the guy that was unacceptable. He apologized and I told him if he took $500 off, we'd have a deal. He paused and then left to talk to his manager. About 10 minutes later he came back and said he could take $350 off, plus 10% off any accessories we wanted to get. I looked at Cirila, and we agreed that was pretty good.

In a way, the fact that we didn't walk out with a brand new HDTV that night might have been a good thing. Sure we were bummed out, but we've had a chance to straighten up the apartment and get rid of a bunch of things we really don't need. It's something we've been putting off since we've gotten married. Plus, without a big tv in the house, it seems like our evenings are longer. Don't get me wrong. We can't wait for the 8th to get here, but we hope it doesn't makes us forget, theres more we can do than just watch tv.
